HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
A warm welcome awaits you at our guesthouse set in the beautiful countryside of the Lot department close to the lovely old market town of St Cere. The house is over 150 years old but has been renovated to provide 3 delightful guest bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom.
The area is known for its stunning scenery and outstanding collection of picturesque medieval villages and towns. Within easy reach are no less than plus beaux villages de France including Autoire, Carrenac and Loubressac. For a wonderful day out you can also visit Figeac and drive down the Lot or Cele valleys to the renowned village of St Cirq-Lapopie. To the north we have the Dordogne valley and beautiful villages such as Beaulieu sur Dordogne. To the east, you can visit the Regional Park of the Volcanoes in the Cantal department where the mountains reach almost 2,000 metres. Closer to home are the must see village of Rocamadour and the nationally famous caves at Padirac. Do take a look at our website for a more comprehensive guide to the area.
If you would like to explore the area on foot we offer a fully inclusive Walking Holiday Package and for those with even more energy there are wonderful cycle routes to follow and countless places to hire canoes for the day.
Back at the house you will find a relaxed atmosphere (many of our guests say they quickly feel at home) and the option to dine with us and your fellow guests. We offer evening dinner on 6 nights a week we are one of the few guesthouses to offer delicious vegetarian dishes as an option. If you would like to eat out, just 10 minutes up the road is a Michelin starred restaurant or for those who have smaller budget there are many good restaurants within a 20 minute drive.

Description of Le Pigeonnier:
Le Pigeonnier so called not because we still keep pigeons there, but because it is on the top floor of the house in the tower that is an architectural feature of the area. This bedroom can either be a large double or twin beds and has lovely views across the countryside. Ensuite bathroom.

Description of Primavere:
Primavere is decorated in pastel shades to reflect the wild flowers that are so abundant here. This room has a lovely comfortable double bed and its two large windows look out onto the trees at the side of the house. Ensuite bathroom.

Description of Fleuri:
Fleuri - a lovely light room looking out across the fields and hills to the front of the house. The floral headboard was rescued from an old French style bed that we inherited with the house. Ensuite bathroom.
