Superb views abound from our house, which is part in the Bourgeois style and part restored back to some of its original farmhouse features. At least 300 years old it sits a top of a hill on the edge of the pretty little commune of BORN. On the opposite hill is the Chateau of Born.
Chateaux are many around here, as are the beautiful Bastide Towns .One of the most striking of these is Villereal, 5 mins away by car or a lovely hours walk through the lanes.

Description of Guest room:
The room we offer for our guests is an attractive, large, confortable,double/family room with tea/coffee facilities; the bathroom facilities are a joining. The room has been recently refubished and we are told by our guests, delightful. Breakfast can be taken outdoors most mornings.

There are many walks around and it is also ideal for cyclists. Artists will have a field day, as would wildlife lovers. We have many birds of numerous variety and stunning birds of prey. Deer also venture on to our land as we have 17acres with springs in part so they have a constant supply of water. There is a Leisure Lake not far away open to the end of September, for swimming, boating, fishing etc; it also has a sandy shore & eating places. There are several riding stables in the area. Lots of rivers with good fishing,also canoeing.
All the Towns have eating places and a weekly Market.
